LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth Receives Grant from Bluffton Rotary
The LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth (LCAHY) received a grant from the Bluffton Rotary Charitable Giving to support its youth coalition, Teens for Healthy Youth (THY). Teens for Healthy Youth celebrated Red Ribbon Week to encourage their peers to live drug-free and make positive choices. The 2025 National Red Ribbon Week Theme is “Life is a Puzzle, Solve It Drug-Free.” To launch Red Ribbon Week THY made large Red Ribbons and a larger banner to display in the atrium to all students during lunch. Teens for Healthy Youth Create Awareness for October National Bullying Prevention Month
Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) Created Awareness for October National Bullying Prevention Month in their schools. THY Bluffton High School encouraged their peers to participate in National Unity Day on October 22nd, by having an orange dress-down day and by distributing orange bullying prevention bracelets and pins at the school entrance. Each school club signed an orange flag and placed it at the flagpole in the morning to show that the school is united in stopping bullying.
