Teens for Healthy Youth Bluffton High Educate Community During Trunk-or-Treat at Bluffton High

Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) Bluffton High School educated the community during October Medicine Abuse Awareness Month and October National Bullying Prevention Month. THY gave parents and caregivers THY’s Medicine Safety Fact Card to educate about proper medicine use during National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month. One hundred and fifty fact cards were distributed to adults during the event. In addition, they encouraged kids to say, “Boo to Drugs” and passed out 500 color sheets to youth and Halloween candy. THY plans to educate the community annually during National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month and National Bullying Prevention Month.

Teens for Healthy Youth passed out candy and 500 coloring sheets that read “Say Boo to Bullying” to elementary-age children that attended Trunk or Treat.
