During February 2024, Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) educated their peers about Teen Dating Violence (TDV). THY at Bluffton High School distributed THY’s Teen Dating Violence Fact Card in English and Spanish to all students on Valentine’s Day and staffed an informational table during all lunches. THY at Hilton Head Christian Academy educated their peers by creating posts for Instagram that informed individuals on what teen dating violence is and provided encouragement for victims of TDV. Teens for Healthy Youth is an initiative of LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth.
Teens for Healthy Youth add candy to the THY Teen Dating Violence Fact Card and distribute it to all students on Valentine’s Day.
THY Dating Violence Fact Card was provided in English and Spanish to students at BLHS.
THY HHCA developed Instagram postings to educate peers about teen dating violence and shared on THY Instagram and their school’s social media.
THY HHCA also developed Instagram posting to support the victims of teen dating violence.
