Teens for Healthy Youth representatives, Claudia Barrientos and Nick Andreoletti, accepted LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth’s May Mental Health Awareness Proclamation issued by the Mayor of the Town of Bluffton during the Bluffton Town Council Meeting on May 7th, 2025. The proclamation affirms the town’s ongoing support of LCAHY’s efforts to promote the mental health and wellness of community members. In addition, the proclamation raises awareness of youth mental health issues, a major pediatric concern. See the May Mental Health Awareness Proclamation below for details. LCAHY and the Town of Bluffton plan to partner in future proclamations to promote healthy lifestyles in the community. This is an activity in LCAHY’s 12-Month Action plan under Strategy 7, Policies or Regulations of the Seven Strategies of Community Level change.

Claudia Barrientos and Nick Andreoletti accepted the Proclamation read by Mayor Pro Tempore during the Town Council meeting.
