LCAHY's Intern from USCB Gives Interview on Talk of the Town

Jaci Coleman, a student in the Department of Public Health at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) and LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth’s (LCAHY) intern, gave an interview on WHHI’s Talk of the Town to highlight the coalition’s website and the projects she worked on with LCAHY. A project Jaci shared was her fact card that she developed to encourage parents to talk early and often to their children about their mental health and wellness. She stressed the importance of parents talking to their children about the negative impact social media can have on youth mental health including depression. Jaci Coleman also discussed multiple E-news she developed with her precipitator, Dr. Novince, including an E-news on National Communicate with Your Kids Day.
