LCAHY Board Member & Vanlandingham Rotary Partner to Give Holiday Baskets & Resources

David Martin, LCAHY’s Business Sector CIA and owner of Piggly Wiggly, partnered with Vanlandingham Rotary Club to provide families in need, identified by Deep Well, with 50 food baskets and 100 turkeys during the Thanksgiving holiday at cost.  Many of the families in need have children and so LCAHY provided the families with LCAHY’s informational brochure to make the families aware of the coalition, and its prevention & mental health resources. He also included LCAHY’s Rx Fact Card with year-round Rx Dropbox locations. Previously, David Martin also shared LCAHY’s resources with Sandalwood Food Pantry when providing grocery goods to local families in need. LCAHY is working to incorporate ways to address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in their community outreach efforts.
