Youth CIA Representative, Aviana Stevens, accepted the Town of Bluffton’s Proclamation during May Mental Health Awareness Month at the Bluffton Town’s Council Meeting on May 7th, 2024, on behalf of the Lowcountry Alliance for Healthy Youth (LCAHY). The proclamation affirms the town’s ongoing support in LCAHY’s efforts to promote mental health and wellness of community members. In addition, the proclamation raises awareness of youth mental health issues, a major pediatric concern. See the Town’s Proclamation below for details. LCAHY and the Town of Bluffton plan to partner in future opportunities to promote healthy lifestyles in the community. This is an activity in LCAHY’s 12-Month Action plan under Strategy 7 Policies or Regulations of the Seven Strategies of Community Level change.
