HHCA Engages Their school in School-Wide Acts of Kindness Challenge

Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) at Hilton Head Christian Academy (HHCA) engaged their school in Random Acts of Kindness Week, which took place February 13th - 20th, 2023. The focus of the week was performing unsolicited acts of kindness toward peers, mentors, and staff. HHCA THY group promoted this event through schoolwide kindness challenges and positive encouragements placed around the school and cars. The intention was to boost and strengthen everyone's mood/daily outlook, which promotes positive teen health. HHCA THY members, Rachel Borack and Sophia Blackwell, created the social media challenges and content. Random Acts of Kindness Week included HHCA’s student body, staff, and mentors.
