Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) at Bluffton High School educated about sixteen middle and high school students at the Boys and Girls Club Bluffton in Prevention Plus Wellness Sport Program. This program encourages total health and wellness by promoting eating healthy, exercising, getting enough sleep, reducing stress, and avoiding drugs and alcohol use. The program helps youth think about their daily habits and set a goal they choose to improve their health. The Prevention Plus Wellness Sport Program uses positive imaging to promote positive behaviors. THY distributed their Prevention Plus Wellness Fact Card to the teens that watched their presentation. THY plan to return to the Boys and Girls Club in November during Smoke Free & Vape Free Month to educate the teens in the Prevention Plus Wellness Vaping Program. Educating teens through peer-to-peer education is part of the Lowcountry Alliance for Healthy Youth’s 12-Month Action plan under Strategy Two Enhancing Skills.

Teens for Healthy Youth are dedicated to promoting positive teen health through peer-to-peer education and teachers annually at the Boys and Girls club.
