THY Shares Teen Suicide Prevention Information at Suicide Prevention Fundraiser at Cycle Bar Gym

Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) members of Hilton Head Island High School assisted at the Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Fundraiser at Hilton Head Island Cycle Bar Gym.  THY members distributed their Teen Suicide Prevention Fact Card to attendees. One member shared a personal experience at the event. THY’s involvement in the event was coordinated by David Martin, Business CIA for the LCAHY Board. This activity is included in Strategy One Providing Information in the Seven Strategies of Community Level Change. Low Country Alliance for Healthy Youth’s mission is to prevent youth substance use and related risk behaviors.





THY distributed the Teen Suicide Prevention Fact card to the cyclists who attended the event.



David Martin, CIA Business Sector, connected THY members with Cycle Bar owner Katie Knowles, to provide information during the fundraiser.
