The LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth (LCAHY) posted world, national, state, family, and community resources on the coalition’s website to help individuals find resources to cope during COVID-19 Crisis. The resources include SAMSHA’s Disaster Distress Hotline, the CDC, NIH, WHO, South Carolina Department of Health, and MUSC Virtual Urgent Care. The webpage also contains sector-specific resources such as the CDC’s Checklist for community and faith leaders, parents, and educators. Additionally, the website includes resources to support mental health such as Mental Health America, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Child and Mind Institute, and the CDC’s Taking Care of Your Emotional Health. The webpage contains information to support people working from home and people in recovery. LCAHY hopes to provide resources that give people tools to cope with the pandemic in healthy ways.
