Cross Schools THY Spreads Awareness of May Mental Health Awareness Month

May 2023

Teens for Healthy Youth at Cross Schools engaged the lower and upper school in May Mental Health Awareness Month. THY created their own posters to promote Mental Health Awareness Month. They also had a lemonade stand where students provided drinks in THY’s May Mental Health Awareness Month cup with positive strategies for managing stress. Students at Cross Schools were also encouraged to wear green, the color for mental health, during the event.

An example of teachers and lower school students wearing green, May Mental Health Awareness color.

THY Cross Schools used Instagram to encourage students and staff to wear green in recognition of May Mental Health Awareness Month.

Teens for Healthy Youth Members at Cross Schools promote May Mental Health Awareness Month and distribute THY cup with tips on managing stress.
